Who I am
Dr. Lauren Mullenbach is an interdisciplinary social scientist with expertise in urban environmental justice, city climate adaptation planning, parks and recreation management and planning, community engagement, health equity, and green space planning. Her primary research methods are highly applied and can be tailored to your research needs: surveys, interviews, focus groups, polls, demographic analysis, document analysis, and youth photovoice. She was previously a tenure-track professor for three years at the University of Oklahoma, where she was rated the best instructor in her department three years in a row. Her research experience has included community engagement, co-production of knowledge, in-person and virtual data collection, primary and secondary data analysis, and has been funded with both public and private funds.
On a personal note, Lauren enjoys running, biking, hiking, painting, cooking, and playing with her two cats.
